After 30 years, couldn’t Corey have moved away or just demanded he stop?

It was poorly worded. I think they meant that he has gotten away with the molesting in general for 30 years.

When a boy is a young or mid-teen, such a boy is still very much a child. Confusion can dominate so completely that there is virtually no escape except through drugs.

What a horrible life.

Here is Corey Feldman’s excellent description of how monstrous Hollywood can be to young teenage boys:

http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/corey-feldman-book-details-sexual-abuse-coreys-article-1.1490863

It describes very well the answers to questions that reasonable people would have, such as yours, to these types of revelations.

The interest of this thread is that it becomes a mystery, a guessing game that pulls people in. It could very well have been Rob Reiner but it doesn’t matter. Corey Feldman’s excellent recount in the above link contains this line near the conclusion:

“Feldman, now a father of a young son, Zen, charges that the “number one problem in Hollywood was, and is, and always will be, pedophilia.” “

Thank God Corey Feldman was able to get out of the hell he found himself. I think his escape is miraculous. He seems a very reasonable man now, decent, sober and aware of the importance of family values. I pray he will have the strength, support, and courage one day to reveal the ‘monsters’ he refers to in the above link.
