There are currently more than 6 million wild hogs on the loose in America – tearing up crops and infecting waterways. With $1.5 million in damages each year, Texans are free to use almost anything to eradicate the pigs, including blowing them up.

The video states the feral pigs carry a lot of parasites and disease so sounds like a no go.

I have always thought the the ultimate solution would be to capture them, if possible, and relocate them in Afghanistan and Iraq. Or, in any other country that is Muslim and our enemy.

“You might be a true-blooded American if your first thought is “Yeah, but can I BBQ it?”.” You bet. Actually, I’ve been wanting to take my AR-10 .308 rifle to Texas and hunt one of those hogs. You can’t hunt with high power rifles in Indiana. But I have a rule about not hunting anything I don’t intend to eat. I have nothing against others that are into sport or trophy hunting but it’s just not for me.
So. It's going to be one of THOSE days.

Rule # 1 that our dad taught us: Don’t point your gun at anything you don’t intend to kill and/or eat.
I understand the sentiment, but unfortunately once the hogs have “corrected” that problem, you’ll still have a bunch of feral hogs running around, and they’d now be in all kinds of areas they aren’t currently. There are less destructive ways to solve the problem you’re referring to.
It’s legal to hunt feral pigs anywhere and anytime in Virginia. So the local hillbillies over in Bland County buy baby pigs at the market in the spring and release them near the national forest. Then they hunt them in the fall. They take their boys with them, roast pig and drink bourbon after the hunt.
