Hillary's use of "Basket of Deplorables" has opened many opportunities. A recent Trump rally opened with "The Song of Angry Men" from "Les Miserables." The lyrics of this great song reflect the attitude of those who love this country and support Trump's efforts to save it.
The Song of Angry Men - from Les Miserables (Les Deplorables)
CHORUS 1
Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will NOT be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start
When tomorrow comes!
VERSE 1
Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Then join in the fight
That will give you the right to be free!
CHORUS 1
VERSE 2
Will you give all you can give
So that our banner may advance? (To re-establish liberty)
Some will fall and some will live
Will you stand up and take you chance? (Will you stand, will you be free?)
The blood of the martyrs (The blood of tyrants)
Will water the meadows of France! (Will water the liberty tree!)
CHORUS 1
CHORUS 2
Do you hear the people sing
Lost in the valley of the night?
It is the music of a people
Who are climbing to the light.
For the wretched of the earth (For the souls throughout the earth)
There is a flame that never dies.
Even the darkest night will end
And the sun will rise.
VERSE 3
We will live again in freedom
In the garden of the Lord.
We will walk behind the plough-share,
We will put away the sword.
The chain will be broken
And all men will have their reward.
CHORUS 3
Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring
When tomorrow comes!
“I hear America singing” By walt whitman
I HEAR America singing, the varied carols I hear;
Those of mechanicseach one singing his, as it should be, blithe and strong;
The carpenter singing his, as he measures his plank or beam, The mason singing his, as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work;
The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boatthe deckhand singing on the steamboat deck;
The shoemaker singing as he sits on his benchthe hatter singing as he stands;
The wood-cutters songthe ploughboys, on his way in the morning, or at the noon intermission, or at sundown;
The delicious singing of the motheror of the young wife at workor of the girl sewing or washingEach singing what belongs to her, and to none else;
The day what belongs to the dayAt night, the party of young fellows, robust, friendly, Singing, with open mouths, their strong melodious songs.
A great song that really captures the mood of our nation!
Except for the 47% that are singing, “We Gotta Get Our Check On Time”.
Try changing “when tomorrow comes” to “when November comes”
And media won’t stand for bloodshed. Change it to sweat of tyrants”
The greatest thing Hillary did was to call us the Deplorables.
Yep
I agree , change these:
Tomorrow —> November
Blood of tyrants —> sweat of tyrants
Great song; I’m glad that Trump had it played at the rally!
Got right back in illary’s face with it too!!!
I was never interested in Les Miz, but this is great.

Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand with me?
Somewhere beyond Clinton’s charade
Is there a world you long to see?
Do you hear the people sing?
Say, do you hear the distant drums?
It is the future that they bring
When November comes!
More suggestions...
VERSE 2
Will you give all you can give
So that our country may advance?
Some will fall and some will live
Will you rise up and take a stand?
The tears of the tyrants
Will water America’s land!
This works too, and makes it timeless, even if Clinton drops out or goes room temperature...
Instead of...
Somewhere beyond Clinton’s charade
It could also be...
Somewhere beyond the ‘Crat charade
The media won't stand for bloodshed? The media is a major element among the forces that are driving the decent, law-abiding, God-fearing, Republic-loving, Americans to the gun stores in droves. This upsurge in righteous anger that is sweeping the country is one of the unintended consequence of the biased telling of lies that goes by the name of “reporting” by the modern media.
Jefferson's quote still stands; The tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants.
The media won't stand for bloodshed - Trump is showning us that the media are the enemy. Their dainty sensibilities and thought police censorships are irrelevant. That line stands.
Ok, I agree, thanks
