Saddam Hussein essentially ran CNN for 8 years - they were his official propaganda arm for 8 years - which is why they were allowed to stay in Iraq while all other media was thrown out.

That was my first thought last night when I read about CNN whining. The news media have the shortest memories, and when they do remember, they twist or re-write everything to suit their agenda.

Most in the media don’t realize that the average person hates them. They, along with lawyers, have deluded themselves into thinking that people respect and admire them. Almost everyone knows that the media is blatantly dishonest, and that outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and the networks are in the tank for whatever democrat candidate who happens to be running at the time.

One could argue that the Press taking obvious sides is undermining American democracy. At this point, they are little more than the propaganda arm of the Democratic party. And snide comments like this one from CNN don’t help their case—it explains why trust in the Media is at record lows.

When a MSM maven writes a well-accepted opinion piece about how it is required that the journalists be against Trump because they know so much better than the public about the danger he would be as US President, then it is obvious that war has been declared against Mr Trump. How so very surprising that he refuses to accept their BIAS and fights back!

Is CNN considering itself part of the media?

While CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and a host of other media outlets report like Baghdad Bob. All those Baghdad Bobs looking different but saying the exact same thing.

So who is it exactly that is undermining Democracy and reporting like a propaganda arm of one party? Get over yourselves media, Americans are. Not only are we over you, we despise you, while ignoring the BS you spew forth like sewage produced in the likes of New York City. Vile and extremely disagreeable.

Excellent point. If any news organization is expert on being on someone’s short leash, it is CNN.

They, along with lawyers, have deluded themselves into thinking that people respect and admire them.

Does CNN still run those incessant repetitions of the lines "America's most trusted source for news" and "The network more Americans trust for news" ?

I used to find those so sickening when we had cable TV, which was nearly twenty years ago.

Anyone watch Fox this morning with Leland Vittert interviewing a Trump spokes person?

Vittert was being a total ass during the interview.

No one ever would have mocked Edward R. Murrow. Today’s journalists should seek to achieve the standards he set.

Seriously, don’t they know that Americans rate them even lower than congress? Guess not - since they ignore whatever doesn’t fit the agenda.
