Is it legitimate to vote for Trump out of desire to cause Upper West Side angst

Clearly, shrinks on the Upper West Side will make out like bandits if Trump wins. Hourly rates will soar. No new patients will be accepted due to the increase from two to three visits a week from existing patients. SAD!

This is a very serious election, perhaps one of the most momentous in our lifetimes. Our civil and constitutional rights are at stake. The Second Amendment. Trade Deals. Illegal Immigration. Possible conflict with Iran, China and Russia. This election will help define who we are as Americans.

This is not a time to vote based upon a desire to see people on the Upper West Side suffer emotionally. That would be IMMATURE and CRUEL.

Wouldn’t it?

Hello, anybody out there?

Moving sales would be a dime a dozen on the Upper West Side (and East Side for that matter) if Trump wins.Moving stuff to Europe,Canada and Australia ain't cheap.

One of the main reasons I am voting for him is in the hope of seeing all the leftist go ape shi# over the next 8 years!

Like Steyn said on the Rush show.....why don’t they say they’ll move to Mexico or Africa. Are the elites racists? Of course they are. That’s how they got rich and elite.

If Trump wins, I fail to see how those leftists will suffer. They'll whine and protest about anything President Trump says and does. This is what leftists live for, to protest, pillage and destroy. They should be happy if Trump wins, as it gives them a reason to be. Hillary would be so boring for them, a continuation of Obama policies and boredom for leftists. Heck, they should be out there voting for Trump.

It will give them a reason to live, definitely. And a reason to feel so superior to the ‘deplorables’ who voted for him. We should help them feel superior, no?? It’s a generous and gracious thing to do for your fellow citizens.

My God it would be so nice to win again... to win something... we used to get to see the perps walk. We used to get to hear the mudzlums cry “schtup de bumbing”. We used to be able to enjoy car-b-ques in the middle east. Those were the days.

I’m a diabetic and go through a lot of artificial sweetener. I only wish they could install a pipeline from New York to my part of Florida. The tears of these East Side liberals would keep me in sweet tea for the rest of my life. So yes, voting for Donald Trump just to make them cry is totally worth it.

Mental health care is covered by Obamacare.

Yes we did. These strange but somehow familiar feelings will, I think, soon return.

I was down at the bookstore listening to Dave Barry last night and the Upper West Side crowd knew enough not to ask pointed questions about the election. That wasn’t the mood.

But when Barry suggested that Florida might give its votes to Wyoming, there was a chorus of noes. Then again when Barry said that if he ever left Florida he might move to Idaho: Noooooooo. They just had to assert themselves.

Then today Brook writes this wonderful column about how great it is to be an American but can’t stop himself from dissing Trump in the next-to-last paragraph.

Sigh.

They can’t help it.

As Kellyanne said, you’re being interviewed about Hillary and it immediately turns to Trump.

Everyone had better start admitting it. He’s all they can think about.

I am not sure if they will really leave. If they do leave, a more likely scenario is to rent their property in NYC and get another residence in Canada until “their day will come.” However, they cannot completely escape from him. There will always be news coverage of Trump popping up in foreign media. This would be more than they can handle because Trump tends to dominate media. They have to go off the grid to feel secure.
