Two things. When someone gets put in the chair, they already did something that necessitated them being in there, and with drunks, its usually assaulting staff.

That being said, that deputy that came in and sprayed her should be prosecuted. That was entirely punitive and violated the woman’s civil right, despite her probably being a serious drunken Alfa Hotel.

This is why it is important that supervisors step in and temporarily reassign officers who have been assaulted by prisoners so that they are not tempted to exact “payback”.

The funny thing is, the one who sprayed her was not in the party that arrested her. She was not assaulted by the plaintiff.

She just got tired of hearing her sh!t.
