I got them mixed up at first, too. David Brock was a well-known journalist before David Brooks was. Brock wrote for The American Spectator, back when that was a big newsprint thing perfect for a large cat to nap upon.

LOL know next to nothing about either one other than the fact one, David B, and his praising BO’Bs sharply creased trousers. That has become stuck in the memory cells for eternity. People certainly poured on the praise in order to get the skinny dope elected.
