Feminists and other SJW’s had had LOTS of past success demanding that movie roles be filled by actors this protected ethnicity, or that one, and what that added up to was a very steady, sustained drain of Our Own Cultural Heroes.
Hollywood is very, very liberal.
Well, the day did come that Amerca and many parts of the world were per capita spending MORE on video games every year than on movies, and some smart Feminists saw that.
They saw a new target.
They started SCREAMING day after day about the lack of FEMINIST VIDEO GAMES. They wanted to do to video game studios what they’d done to movie studios.
Say, WHAT IN HELL is a “feminist video game”? And if it really would be good to have such games why not GO OUT AND FRIGGIN **MAKE ONE**..? But oh, no, these feminists and their tech reporter allies joined right up on that bandwagon and poured all their energy into complaining instead of coding up that game genre, which they purported to be pining for.
The ONLY tech writer telling these feminists to go F themselves was Milo and EVERYONE in the gaming community loved him for it.
Suddenly everyone realized how many other people there were, just like them —NO ONE wanted feminism in video games. Gaming was a place where people could run away from SJW’s completely. Why import those hateful imbeciles..?
I’d say Milo is the Rush Limbaugh of the gaming community, which is huge.
Rush brought a new format to the radio, which at the time was a preserve of weather kooks, religious broadcasters and public emergency tone testing —he gave a huge middle finger to liberals who up to that point had been unchallenged on radio.
THAT is what Milo, much younger, is doing, but with a tech twist.
