Fear the Walking Dead ping!
Please let me know if you would like on or off the FTWD ping list!
LOL!
Oops! Excuse me, I thought this was a thread about Hillary!
“Oops! Excuse me, I thought this was a thread about Hillary!”
Nope. She is in the next episode.
Coincidence that this is posted just below article of Hillary losing consciousness this morning?
Tonight’s episode, the dead vote to choose their leader...
You mean a rerun of the Walking Deadocrat convention?
November 8th: there will be a Walking Dead marathon. They will be racing to the polls.

The big problem on this show is Travis. He is a worthless community organizer.
The best moment in the whole show was the look on his face when his son shot that farmer.
I think this show is more realistic than Walking Dead. Walking Dead has too many silly COMIC BOOK characters they are trying to translate to live action.
Fear the Walking Dead Just Beat Walking Dead at Its Own Game

You’ve been added!
And the first rule of character development is that characters should be engaging. You should care what happens to them, one way or the other. There are no engaging or interesting characters on this show. The one interesting, well acted, character they had (the Reuben Blades character) got killed off. The rest of the characters left are not engaging. I wouldn't miss a single one if they disappeared tomorrow. I do note that there does seem to be an arc developing with the once wimpy son who now seems to be developing into an amoral badass. I see a chance for him to develop into a first class villain, a la Negan. I also note that although I was ready to give up on this show, Sunday's episode was very good - probably the best yet of the series. There finally seems to be some story lines coming together. So there is hope.
Sunday cable ratings: Rob & Chyna premieres well, Fear the Walking Dead rebounds
Fear the Walking Dead bounced back some from its series low the previous week, rising three tenths of a point to a 1.5.

totally agree on the character development. unfortunately unlike you i (well i should say we, the missus and i) are at our wits end with this show. we are big time TWD fans and Fear has so many issues. i will raise a few
1. look at the first episodes of TWD and see how the actors react to the fact that Zombies walk the earth. they are scared, terrified, lost. now look on whats happening in fear? is there any chance the group can shut the hell up on talking about their lives. splash on some blood like perfume or aftershave (just a smattering mind!) and go walkies. Compare that the the scene of Rick covering themselves in gore in a similar exercise and even then the Z’s began to smell them even before it rained. in this episode we had madison splash some blood on her face (you can see her back is totally uncovered as she walks away) and bingo.
2. totally unnatural reaction. the fear group just dont seem overly bothered about, well, anything...Perhaps its the writing or the actors or both but fear has failed miserably at showing the beginning of the end of the world with these actors and storyline.
3. compare when rick first meets morgan and his son to how they are reacting in fear. Morgan and his son are truly terrified. they black out windows, lock doors and he beats himself up for firing a single shot. he explains to rick how they move and not to trust them in groups as they move faster. now compare that scene to madison and the guy getting drunk and playing a piano in a hotel they have not cleared? really? a piano? the way they are behaving is not logical or in sync with the TWD universe and its rules. At this point the group should be terrified but the are not..Why?
4. where are the zombies? they are currently some type of annoying fly buzzing around rather than a terrifying indicator of whats to come. also they are near cities in mexico. where are the zombies?
fear has issues — it is not a success certainly compared to TWD. they need new writers, new actors and a new story arch. they have continually bumped off the wrong people or ignored other characters. the asian lady from the plane was a great hope but discarded for some reason...Fear needs someone to come in a shake it up a bit...and start by killing off in the next series 80% of the existing cast.
just an opinion obviously...
Actually, I agree with you on most everything. I was ready to give up on the show. I just thought the last episode was pretty good but they have a history of following 1 decent episode with 5 horrible ones. And, so far at least, the biggest flaw is uninteresting characters and poor acting. And much of that is because of bad writing.
