Swoopes is a beast. Hook ‘em!
I’d like to see that game. LOL
Did you catch how the commentator called Texas Baylor last night? And he did it twice! The other guy in the booth never corrected him. It was peculiar.
Early season for them too...
I think they were really wrapped up in the coaching background of the new offensive coordinator for the Longhorns. He did apprentice under Art Brilles.
Outside of Bama, the SEC resembles the MAC right now.
Depending on how Mississippi does tonight, I would only put Alabama and Georgia in the top 15.
Do you remember the collage all-star games that used to be held every year at Soldier Field? A team made up of collet players would play an NFL team.
yeah that was done I believe for charity and ended in 1976 due to reluctance to risk high draft picks & insurance costs. I remember Dan Pastorini in one.
I remember those, however I was just a kid. I’m surprised they lasted until 1976. My point was how many SEC fans think that their league is filled with NFL level teams. Like Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Missouri, and Miss. State are juggernauts of football power. Like every other conference they have good teams and bad teams.
The refs missed that helmet-to-helmet on the dropped ND TD pass.
aparently, new rules allow targeting to be called upon review; can’t imagine why that didn’t happen on that play...
this is exactly what football needs to eliminate; head hunting, if ony by penalizing it...if you’re not going to follow your own rules, why make them...
Ever notice how ANY play made by ND has such glorious descriptions, by the announcers? As though NO team in history has ever made such an amazing play...as the ND player just did.
okay, if you say so...
It was hard to tell in normal action, but one replay clearly showed the H to H. That likely cost ND at least 6, probably 7. And had Texass on its heels already.
Who knows what might have happened had that play been called, or the ut player avoided the H to H.
