I think it would be more beneficial if he focused on the swing states. If he could up his percentage of the black vote by even just a few percentage points in places like Philadelphia, Pittsburg, Richmond, Charlotte, Raleigh, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toledo, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, it could potentially make a big difference.
But I dont think he should just focus on black churches. The high turnout in 2004 of white evangelicals seems to be the number one factor in Bushs re-election. Trumps done a lot of outreach to evangelical leaders, but I think events like this one in prominent evangelical churches, especially in states like Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, and western Pennsylvannia might also be a big help.
