I disagree. This was perhaps the BEST time to release it.
Everyone will be reading about this on their SMARTPHONES. They will be talking about it to all the people they are visiting or encounter on this 3 DAY WEEKEND.
Even if one presumes the FBI released it to minimize the damage, I believe it will have the OPPOSITE EFFECT.

I think this is another example of:
—Hillary controlling her own campaign instead of listening to younger staffers
—Hillary convincing the FBI to release the documents on Labor Day Weekend based on the ancient maxim that nobody cares about the news on Labor Day weekend
—Everybody talking to everyone about this and the strategy blowing up in Hillary’s face
I am beginning to enjoy this campaign!
