It is not overtime and not a game to watch. At an event, you are working. If you are lucky you get to look to see a particularly good play but most of the time not. And the officers are likely working extra hours off the city clock. Meaning, they are not getting overtime. I highly doubt all of that. They work an extra day and don't get paid for it, same as if they stayed home? Lol! And they're not keeping an eye on the game while there? Lol again.

It’s a second job. They’re getting paid by the stadium or the 49ers, not the police dept, so not overtime.

I highly doubt all of that. They work an extra day and don't get paid for it, same as if they stayed home? Lol!You don't know what you are talking about. We hire off duty police officers as security at our events. We pay them. The city does not. They are not on the city clock racking up overtime.
