Ann also sang a fine version of David Gates (Bread) “I Want To Make It With You”. She may also have done “If”.
Her voice was actually deeper than David’s.

She did some pretty good stuff. Her cover of the Beatles’ “You Won’t See Me” is about as good as a cover version gets.

Love Anne Mirray!

Reporter: How does it feel to be a star?

Anne: Stars aren't important...they just ride around in limos. When your toilet overflows, you don't need a star, you need a plummer.

Plummers are important.

Years ago when we were young, I was stopped on the street more than once by people who thought I was Anne Murray. It was flattering but I didn’t see it.

I remember that one. At the time, folks said that the flowers that bloom again in spring were poppies, and the ‘snow’ was heroin, and the song itself was about drug addiction.

What next? Puff the Magic Dragon?

This was featured in a Family Guy episode.

Brian and Stewy got high and fell in love with Anne over this song.

Things took a turn for the worse when they found out she didn’t actually write the song.
