Phil Spector used “Gold Star Studio” to perfect his “Wall of Sound” sound.

He had a young gopher that would get whatever he needed and, in exchange for his gopher services, the young gopher received studio time for him and his singing partner.

That young gopher was Sonny Bono.

As an aside, Gold Star Studio was the home to the Beach Boys, Jan&Dean and so many more classic albums
