Given her religion, I doubt that will happen. Unless she can cite a Sharia provision in an Islamic court and plead her case to a Qadi (Islamic judge). I think even Islam has something about deadbeat husbands, But being a douche to women and having several wives / mistresses etc and the wife remaining silent about it is very Islamic. Hence Huma's reluctance to say or do anything, except ignore it.

Bingo. Many people have forgotten the history, and also the lessons of the past re: Islam. Looking at things through our cultural-social lens needs to stop. Their society isn’t based on the same values or norms as Western Civilization.
