If that hit on quarterback Tony Romo’s back looked bad, there’s a good reason for it. It was bad.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Romo is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with a broken bone in his back. The team will be announcing the injury; it’s unclear whether the team will put a duration on the absence.

There are a bunch of folks here that will block I-30 and will stop Kaepernick from even coming near Cowboys’ Stadium if that happens.

I don’t think any NFL team should want CK after his hate-America stunt. I hope the 49ers cut him loose soon. They still owe him a lot of money but the privilege of playing US pro sports should include minimum respect for the people and ideals of this great land. Let CK play out his days in the CFL if he wants to....

Good thing they picked up Prescot, he is looking good in preseason.

I'm a Pats fan, but hold Dallas in high esteem. I want the team to succeed because of their storied history and because of the new owner and how much he has financially invested in the team and in their gorgeous new stadium.

That said, everything I detailed in my previous post is true. I speak from first hand experience re: back injury. Tony Romo was a solid quarterback, but he and the team need to face reality and "move on". Especially if Dallas wants to even make the playoffs and rebuild with the future in mind. As for TR, he needs to "bow out gracefully" like Teddy Bruski and Lou Gerig did when they medically came to the end of their careers.

I like Tony, but I think he’s broken enough bones at this point. Time to pass the baton.

That guy Kaepernick is a complete dunce. He’s being ripped apart across the internet for his unpatriotic stunt.

Fool. It will become the only thing he’s remembered for.

“Don’t really care for the Cowboys...”

Come on, man. Show a little home team loyalty. Jerry won’t always rule the roost.

“...if fortune smiles on the ‘boys this season...”

We long suffering Cowboys fans are certainly due. I’d like to see America’s Team shine again.

I’m a longtime Cheesehead, but the Cowboys are my #2.

They still have time to get it together before opening against the Giants.

I’m a California native, but like you, the Cowboys were always high on my list of favorite teams. Now that I live in Dallas, they’re number one for me.

Damn, another horrible injury for Romo. Hate to this happen in the damn preseason.

He’s no longer a young man, I hope he’s not finished.

Romo needs to quit before he suffers spinal column damage.

This Sunday “Pitch” premieres on Fox. It’s about a hot light-skinned Black chick pitching in the majors.

She throws a screwball.

I think they should have at least made her a left-hander.
