A Hawaii woman has won more than $10 million playing the penny slots in Las Vegas.

And management will come back saying there was a computer glitch and therefor no payout. “How does $100 sound and a comp meal at the buffet instead?”
If she had won at a tribal casino, they would have told her the machine was broken and wasn’t supposed to pay out.
I quit playing the slots when they stopped paying out with real coins and started giving slips of paper like an 8 liner in the back of a gas station.
Thats a BILLION pennies!
How much does she get after taxes?
That is what I believe. She will have to fight in court to get the money. And the judges are owned by the casinos.
Talk about loss leaders.
I always thought the nickel machines paid off more often than the higher denomination ones. No jackpots in my experience, mind you.
How does that happen?
10 mil on a $3 bet? She get a screen full of wilds or something?
How do you ‘mazel tov’ in Hawaiian?
ping
And the IRS will go after her for her “income”. . .
Penny Slot that costs $3. Sounds like a Dollar Slot to me.
The Wife and I won $5,500 on a Megabucks Machine at the Mirage back in 1990. The used to have a Mini Jackpot if you got all four symbols that didn’t line up.
Had no idea we Won when the bell started going off. I told my Wife not to get too excited until they showed up with the Cash after checking the Machine and watching the Video.
We Won on the first Spin spending $3.
First and last time we ever Won that kind of Money.

Most likely she played the “max bet” and hit the progressive.
Good for her!
Gotta pay the Feds...38%..and the State near a little more than 4%....
Haha! That could never be me because the cigarette smoke is too much of a deterrent to even go into the casinos, let alone to gamble.
This hasn’t made the local news yet, unless I just missed it.
ACE: "You didn't see the scam? You didn't see what was goin' on?"
WARD: "Well, there's no way to determine that, Sam."
ACE: "Yes, there is. An infallible way! They won!"
Some years back I worked as a Wal-Mart night stocker with another guy who was a retired Boeing machinist.
One night his wife comes in with a 3’x5’ (that’s feet) cardboard replica of a $980,000 check she would receive for hitting the jackpot on a “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine.
He wasn’t back the next night.
Saw him later and he said that for the next 20 years they would get a $49,000 check. Said they couldn’t take a lump sum. (???) They were in their late 60s then.
Yeah, said she won it then took it back. Now the IRS comes to get taxes on that money.
That will help out with a week’s grocery bill in Hawaii.
