One of the Hollie’s founding members was Graham Nash, and several of their hits had unknown Elton John on piano.
The Hollies were named after Buddy Holly, the West Texas rocker, and Elton John began wearing glasses because Holly, his idol, did so.
Interesting to hear about the Elton John connection.
Nash, boy, never realized the individual. Just the cumulative group.
