Last week I was out bush-hogging a field and like an idiot, had my ball cap on and had it pulled down low due to the setting sun.
Well, to make a long story short, I did run smack dab into a low hanging tree branch. Knocked me hard enough to throw me off the seat. Hurt real bad and lots of blood.
After a day or so, my left ear was really hurting and felt really stuffed. I went to the doctor, who said I got a bad concussion.
Now I have to wonder if I’m going to go nuts?

LOL! Similarly, I was weed-eating around a barn last week and drove my head into iron support railing. Knocked myself to the ground. I didn’t lose consciousness, but until yesterday had a 4-inch oblong knot on my head.
I’m 65. Hope they are saving me a space at the psych ward.
I’m in trouble. When I was six, I was hit in the head with a hard ball line drive, was sick for days (parents didn’t do doctors when I was a kid, at least mine didn’t!). When I was 12 I ran into a tree and knocked myself cold. I refuse to divulge details! :-D
