My guess is that the deportation force label is too naziesque to survive.
Because the label changes doesn’t change the policy.
One needs only deport a few, cut all off of any federal aid and privileges and withholding of fed funds from states that don’t follow suit. Then load up a thousand on a couple of obsolete freighters which to be left in Vera Cruz harbor with totally disabled engines, or land them in Vera Cruz with a large enough force to not be opposed by the Mexican Army and then leave. Then ostentatiously arrest and jail a small number of employers in several states who have hired illegal aliens, including a few householders who have employed illegal alien gardeners, nannies, and maids. One need not do many but should continually do a few more rather than one sweep and then it’s over. The Latino population of illegals will mostly go home of their own accord. The Asians and Moslems will probably have to have some stiffer action.
I’m waiting to see what DT comes up with. I thought mass deportation was harsh, but Obama and Clinton’s plan will only make things worse.
I’m betting DT comes up with something that most supporters will support, but the media will say he is flip flopping.
What I would like to know, is why has no leader in America ever gotten after the Mexican govt to work to make a much much better like for their citizens.
We go all over the ME going after dictators and claiming to be looking out for the citizens, where right next door, itz about as bad as the ME. I understand why illegals try to come here, but we can’t take them in and give them all those benefits.
If americas leaders, going way back, had compassion, they would have been all over the Mexican elites. How many wealthy Texan politicians, including the Bushes took advantage of them.
Whatever DT comes up with will be better than its ever been. For sure it will include a wall.
