Thank you for asking. :)

There’s not actually a full length bio of Eliza, at least anything recent or of any acclaim or with any literary value.

I know about Eliza through Ron Chernow’s magnificent (but lengthy!) bio of Alexander. He even begins the book with the very old Eliza as she approached the end of her life. She is naturally sprinkled throughout the entire book, and you can learn much of her, and her sterling character, her goodness, and of course her amazing family. Chernow’s book is a masterpiece, a national treasure.

Then there is the more recent broadway musical Hamilton which is really a highly condensed version of Chernow’s book. You can get the libretto with lots of articles/photos as a separate book. It is by Lin-Manual Miranda. (I understand that there are many here and at other conservative websites who intensely dislike the musical. I won’t get into that here....I merely note that it is an incredible resource for Eliza). To get the full emotional impact of Eliza’s life via Hamilton the musical, the best thing to do is listen to it on spotify from start to finish.

I suspect that after the final number you will be speechless, shell-shocked and simply in awe of this amazing, Godly, capable, beautiful, generous, kind, faithful, loving woman. Her life, work and memory should be celebrated by anyone who loves God and country. She’s amazing.

I hope you enjoy getting to know Eliza!
