The unnamed woman got into a screaming match with a stewardess on a Spirit Airlines flight from Baltimore to Atlanta, in the US.
In the footage, the woman can be heard complaining to a member of the cabin crew that they refused to give her two plastic cups.
The flight attendant then sharply tells her: "You need to sit down, the seatbelt sign is on. Right now!"
But this only serves to enrage the female passenger, who rants back: "This is all about two plastic cups!"
A fellow passenger can then be heard getting in on the fight, calling out to the woman: "Just sit down, for God's sake, c'mon, trying to land a plane!"
But undeterred from her cup-claiming mission, the woman carries on demanding two drinking vessels.
Clearly riled, another passenger then steps in, telling her: "For Christ's sake, lady, sit in your f***ing seat". It then all becomes a bit of a free-for-all with fellow travellers calling out, including another woman who says: I'll buy you two f***ing cups."
But the angry woman just responds that everyone is being "disrespectful" to her.
Eventually, she returns to her seat without the cups after warning an unseen person that she's going to "wait for [them]".
While the footage was uploaded this week on to Reddit, it was apparently filmed some time ago.
Spirit Airlines has been contacted for comment.

Probably. I have read a lot of these crazy passenger stories, and don’t recall any that involved blacks. There are a lot of crazy white folks out there, too, pooing and screaming and losing it on planes. I don’t know how any of these people get through their day.

The use of “Gimme” when ordering puzzles me. There was a diner in my neighborhood where I heard it so many times I could no longer ignore it. I do not claim it was used 100% of the time but the percentage was staggering. Beyond representing a clear “cultural divide” it provides a window into a particular mentality.
If they had given her both cups, the pilot would no longer be able to talk to the control tower..../s
I am going to take a wild guess here and say her family's ancestral name is "Nuffin".
I fly a lot. Some flight attendants are ashholes and need to be courteous to passengers as customers. Then again some passengers are butts too

“I don't care. I be more impotent than the other 100+ people on this plane. I gunna make a seen and force you to actually be placed in a holding pattern and cause you to burn thousands of extra dollars in fuel and inconvenience you, the flight crew, my fellow passengers, the Air Traffic Control and the entire airport because I didn't get exactly what I wanted exactly when I wanted it.”
Ten to one she is on at least one Federal entitlement program.
When she said she was being disrespected, that gave a lot more information than she realized.
Expecting to be treated with respect (courtesy) is disrespectful, by BLM definition. All Lives Do NOT Matter. Only Beligerant Black Lives Matter.
I was taught, treat others as I want to be treated. Don’t do to others what I wouldn’t want done to me.
That comes from the Bible, though, so saying it violates the Constitution and it’s a hate crime.
How can you “axe” someone nicely? Isn’t that a terror threat?

Even if you fly first class on a major airline YOU DON’T GET UP FROM YOUR SEAT during takeoff and landing. So it’s not the cups that are the issue.
People with this attitude make me so angry. Do they not understand that they agreed to abide by the crew instructions when they bought their ticket and that the safety of everyone on board is tantamount to their little whims?

Actually, I picked that particular brand because it is very, very sticky, and it won’t tickle when coming off. Besides, it’ll help this whiney idiot to STFU.
