why are Morphine and Fentanyl closely controlled substances? Must be because there’s nothing particularly dangerous about them I guess.

Here’s a tip, Scooter.

When you talk to someone, try to have a point. It makes things so much more interesting for everyone.

So find another job. Perhaps a nanny. It’s what you’re suited for by temperament and belief.

It’s easy to be a libertarian when you never come in contact with the deadly consequences of your beliefs. Every overdosed junkie that comes through our doors is taking resources away from the healthcare system that is also responsible for dealing with strokes, and heart attacks, and car accidents, etc. and then there’s the criminal activity that surrounds drug addiction. and then there’s the biggest problem with your belief system of all, the increased demand for welfare services created by drug addiction. The majority of heroin addicts are young working age types that ought to be gainfully employed and contributing to society but, instead, they’re unemployed and sucking the system dry and taking away resources from those who are actually in need. Your libertarian beliefs are are as unworkable as any other liberal’s beliefs.

In the real world, it doesn't work that way.

Modern day opium war foisted upon us by the globalists. Don't think they don't know what they are doing. Heroin producion is up 13 times since we've been in Afghanistan.

At one time during the Opium Wars, East Chines cities had estimates of 90% of the men addicted to opium courtesy of the British.

No it doesn’t. You clearly have no idea how the real world actually works. Thank you for sharing your ignorance with us once again.

You’re the one pissing away resources, time, and money on waste cases.

Not me.

And you expect me to pay for it.

You’re a parasite.

True story: Anthony Keidis lead singer of the red hot chili peppers used to get high on heroin with his girlfriend. He used to tell her he was giving her half but he would give her 1/4 only. She never knew and the first time she shot up with a new guy she had to be hospitalized and nearly died.

The problem isn’t that libertarians believe in freedom and individual responsibility. It is that our government and people who follow blindly don’t want people held accountable; so they reject freedom and build government programs to take care of idiots. That gives you more power over people.

Exactly. Not just in West Virginia but in at least 17 other states, black tar heroin dealers, all illegals from Mexico, have established themselves. Black tar heroin in much more dangerous than the brown cartel heroin.

They go into communities that have not have a heroin problem and recruit outside schools and other places. black tar heroin is extremely addictive, maybe like no other drug. One odd trait: these dealers are under orders to sell only to whites, not to non-whites.

You're an idiot. The federal government has laws that we have to abide by, EMTALA for example. EMTALA is one of those real worl things that you're unaware of clearly. We had a heroin OD taking up a room when I got to work tonight btw. There will probably be more before I leave ion the morning. That's how it is in the real world.

The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) is a federal law that requires anyone coming to an emergency department to be stabilized and treated, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay, but since its enactment in 1986 has remained an unfunded mandate.

Penalties may include: •Termination of the hospital or physician's Medicare provider agreement. •Hospital fines up to $50,000 per violation ($25,000 for a hospital with fewer than 100 beds). •Physician fines $50,000 per violation, including on-call physicians.

“It’s easy to be a libertarian when you never come in contact with the deadly consequences of your beliefs.”

I was not addressing reality. I was addressing your philosophical statement about libertarians. If you merged the best libertarian valves with the best conservative you’d have a pretty good country.

The art and challenge is to make the real more ideal, not discourage people by telling them “that’s they way it really is.” That’s a King George comment.

well, when libertarian types start calling me a nany and hurling other insults because I won’t participate in their fantasty, it leads to King George like comments. I’m actually pretty libertarian in my views but I have no choice but to live in the reality I am presented with.
