VIDEO I watched that video you linked with interest, and have been thinking about the message and it's possible motive. Scary presentation, makes it seem Western Civ is going to gradually shrink into non-existence. Makes me wonder if the stats aren't being presented to sugar-coat the United Nations obvious attempts at social engineering. We know how well that has worked in the past. Hundreds of millions of dead people.

My great grandfather was a teacher in the Tyrol, grandfather a minor official in Linz on the Danube. I am asking myself what was the hardship involved in only a 50 million population as we are expected to believe, and how many more does that region support now, in our own period of history?
I just can't get it through my head why, on the one hand, we are being told by the progressives that the planet is over-populated and on the other hand, the same people seem to be saying, populate or perish? The Austro-Hungarian Empire died as the result of deadly political decisions resulting in a terrible war, not as the result of a small population. I guess I'm just a quality over quantity advocate. I can't see how flooding Europe with mostly young men without prospects or work ethic is going to benefit Europe. I sense another evil experiment by bureaucrats.
