If Hillary is forced to drop out of the race, for what ever reason, I am more inclined to believe Jug Ears would declare a national emergency and attempt to postpone the election until a suitable replacement can be found.
This of course will be brought before the USSC for a emergency hearing, resulting in a tie, 4 to 4 and Jug Ears as the president until he is impeached.
No chance.
The procedure is clear cut. The DNC names a replacement, who does not have to be Kaine. Likely Biden. The GOP would have the same procedure.
