Mystery object in weird orbit beyond Neptune cannot be explained
newscientist.com ^ | Shannon Hall

Posted on 08/12/2016 10:46:17 AM PDT by BenLurkin

The TNO orbits in a plane that’s tilted 110 degrees to the plane of the solar system. What’s more, it swings around the sun backwards unlike most of the other objects in the solar system. With this in mind, the team that discovered the TNO nicknamed it “Niku” after the Chinese adjective for rebellious.

To grasp how truly rebellious it is, remember that a flat plane is the signature of a planetary system, as a star-forming gas cloud creates a flat disk of dust and gas around it. “Angular momentum forces everything to have that one spin direction all the same way,” says Bannister. “It’s the same thing with a spinning top, every particle is spinning the same direction.”

...

Batygin was one of two astronomers who earlier this year announced that the presence of another highly inclined group of objects could be pointing toward a large undiscovered world, perhaps 10 times as massive as Earth, lurking even further away – the so-called Planet Nine.

Upon further analysis, the new TNO appears to be part of another group orbiting in a highly inclined plane, so Holman’s team tested to see if their objects could also be attributed to the gravitational pull of Planet Nine.

It turns out Niku is too close to the solar system to be within the suggested world’s sphere of influence, so there must be another explanation. The team also tried to see if an undiscovered dwarf planet, perhaps similar to Pluto, could supply an explanation, but didn’t have any luck. “We don’t know the answer,” says Holman.

It is because it is in retrograde orbit that it’s inclination is given as 110 degrees. It is how much an object in NORMAL orbit would have to be tipped to appear to be orbiting as it is. Once you cross the 90 degree mark, you are in retrograde.

I believe in Nibiru and that it is on a ‘over 1 thousand year’ orbit around the sun and that it comes in close proximity to Earth, triggering floods, etc.. I also believe the Annunaki inhabit Nibiru and came to Earth to mine our gold. Ever heard of Zehcaria Sitchin?

Wow - the last one of those I saw running around on a daily basis was in the early 2000s, fire engine red with little aluminum slot mags - super clean, inside & out. Was driven by a high school girl. There's a powder blue Pinto wagon that I see every once in a while - is in so-so shape, but the engine sounds good, doesn't smoke or anything. Last time I saw that thing was about 2 months ago.

We collected Pintos in our autoshop class. We could pick them up for a couple hundred and then we’d run them into the ground. They were actually decent cars, and the engines were pretty bulletproof. We had cross country races through open desert and tried to blow them up. Even took the exhaust manifold completely off one and all we did was blow out our eardrums. Good times!

A captured wandering planet

Very like.

It would be most interesting to somehow obtain a sample, and compare the age of its material with that known otherwise.

The good scientifically determined age of our solar system, derived from a variety of agreeing phenomena, is ~5.5 billion years. This is the maximum age of any material (meteorites) that we can physically derive from it. Similar age derivation of the universe however, is ~13.5 billion years. So where is the difference?

If this object in fact orbits "the Sun backwards", it's possibly a remnant of earlier stellar system development, and thus would present good age-test of that which to now, has only been ascertained.

Once captured the interrogation begins... who are you? where did you come from? what are you doing here? why are you going around the sun backwards?

Sitchin is often mentioned. There was a Peruvian astronomer and also our own Harrington. Pioneer 10 was sent to observe Nibiru, not to look at Pluto. Since we are being misled by NASA now, you have to put the pieces together. Articles were published in the New York Times and other places in the eighties, before the big coverup.

I also believe the Annunaki inhabit Nibiru

I agree with Sitchin on everything except that one point. How can a race of people (or other living things, for that matter) survive on a planet whose elliptical orbit takes it so far out from its parent star? Once it left the inner solar system, it would freeze solid, go dark, and become uninhabitable.

I know that Sitchin got his information from the ancient Sumerian tablets, but either the Sumerians misunderstood the Annunaki's origins, or there's been a mis-translation of some sort.

“What’s more, it swings around the sun backwards”

Sounds like the weird alternate planet from Superman comic books - I think it was square or something?

That was some of our more moderate shenanigans.

The rest would put us in prison these days—nothing criminal or malicious, mind you—just illegal today. It was all good clean fun back when we had a free country.
