ST. GEORGE, SC; A Hanahan man will spend life in prison for the slaying of a woman he met through a smartphone app.
News outlets report a judge sentenced Edward Bonilla Thursday after a jury convicted him of murdering Ashley Nicole Pegram.
Authorities said Bonilla met Pegram through the Kik app and took her a date in April 2015, when she disappeared.
