I recall how the Washington Post warned us about all the Republicans against Trump that were going to change the rules at the convention....but then it turned out to be a couple of cranks that enjoy media attention.

Now the Washington Post is telling the "start" of a stampede of Republican experts defecting from Trump...guessing it will be like the "start" of the economy picking up that happened after Obama took office in Feb or 2008...er no March of 2008...er no April of 2008...er no May of 2008..................

I think it isn't an exaggeration of a stampede. Republicans are defecting from Trump and they seem to be increasing in number. What isn't being told is that these are true RINOs/uniparty members not the rank and file. Here in the People's Republic of New York, we had a group of RINOs, led by the detestable Senator Pothole himself, Al D'Amato, who formed Republicans for Cuomo to support Andrew Cuomo's re-election early in 2014 before the Republican candidate was even chosen. These are the ones who are defecting from Trump nationally.

The impression that clymers like Jennifer Rubin want to give, of course, is that Trump is losing the supporters he had with him during the primaries. That is utter garbage, but they keep at it, nonetheless.
