May not have lied. IIRC, oddly enough, “decapitation” doesn’t necessarily mean someone’s head came off: simply popping the neck vertebrae apart is referred to as some sort of decapitation medically.
Well, technically decapitation IS a neck injury. So not lying, just being “diplomatic” I’d say...
Decapitation would fall under a broad category of neck injury I suppose.
They are just protecting our sensitivities...
No problem butchering unborn children in the womb - just call it abortion and fetal tissue (like skin tissue, or cancer tissue).
No problem with terrorism, just call it mental illness or workplace violence.

For once I have to admire them for their restraint. Somethings really are not the public’s business. Especially in the hours after when those close to the boy are still finding out and reeling from his death.
