If he is to truly live the Christian life he would have gotten married to his girlfriend as soon as she got pregnant, if not before that. That vulnerable little baby needs a good Christian father at home with his wife. As a “Christian,” he is setting a terrible example parading around with his “fiance and baby.”
From what I have observed, propriety is a completely foreign concept for younger people, even those who claim the name of Christ. There is no shame in living together and the value of marriage has been diminished.
It’s sad, really. I’m sure he would be baffled were anyone to tell him he should’ve quietly married as soon as they learned she was pregnant. It’s a gross ignorance of God’s word. Thankfully, God is merciful and we grow in knowledge and wisdom as we walk with Christ. It takes time and study to mature in faith.

My gosh what passes for showing the love of Christ these days... After all, that months old baby is totally going to hear the message of Christ.
