The Ferrari 458 lists for more than $290,000 and tops out at over 200 mph

One driver may be giving her insurance company an expensive bill after she accidentally backed into a nearly $300,000 Ferrari while attempting to parallel park outside a Virginia coffeehouse.

Video being shared online showed the aftermath of the Saturday accident in Great Falls, Virginia. It showed the rear of the woman's Mercedes convertible

Most of the MBs are actually easy to maintain yourself. The V12s have this feature though...

You drive it past 80,000 and something breaks that costs literally 3 times the value of the car after it’s resale value plummets so hard it leaves a crater.

Sorry to hear about your friend though.

Really? Do you speak from experience?

Interesting, thanks.

To me the CLS 500 is beautiful, and for I think “only” a hundred grand or so... Lol!

You can buy one for $100k from the dealer, or you can buy one that’s a week old for $50k with a broken washer reservoir pump.

That’s how MB purchasing works.

You can get a V12 2 door 500, 2013 for like $6000. It will never run, but you will own one.

“Really? Do you speak from experience?”

On the maintenance part, or the V12s losing 2/3rd their value with the push of a button ?

Because on both, yes. I speak from experience. These cars aren’t 1970 Monte Carlo easy to work on, but they aren’t as bad as you may think. Costly, but not tough.

From my MB/BMW experience fixing them is like fixing a Toyota Supra. Same experience, honestly.

PIPES PIIIIPES

“And you give this car... to George Wallace.” I don’t have any love for Bill Cosby but 200mph is a great album.

Now that's funny. Except to people who paid the $100k...

I never understood the need to pay more than $30K for a car.

Me neither. Makes no sense. Except... Except for this...

I had that one. Unfortunately it was the album, not the car. But it was still great fun!

The Gullwing is pretty but I didn’t have fun in it.

You had a 300SL Gullwing? I thought I was lucky to just SIT in one once.

And yes, they should have put the C111 into production. An absolutely gorgeous, fascinating car. Most desirable Mercedes ever.

1970 Monte Carlo

My first car in 1985. Great car, nice powerful V-8, and like you said, easy to work on. Need to replace the water pump? Take off the fan and fan shroud and you can kneel inside the engine compartment right in front of it LOL! I should have never sold that car.

This is the first time I’ve seen a Ferrari used as a wheel chock.

All in all, I’d rather have my 2000 Chrysler LHS, which is a beautiful driver’s car with aerodynamic looks and fuel efficiency. The ride at 80 mph is superb and smooth.
