I saw that in the newspaper yesterday! They replaced the “ugly Lucy”? with a far prettier one. Actually, a far more realistic one.

What are they doing with that abomination? (with apologies to the sculptor, but it doesn’t look like her at all).

I have given my top two (Groucho Marx, John Cleese). Kind of surprised not to my third funniest comic. Mike Myers.

I may have missed it, but did no one mention the three stooges?

I guess you could say they were in a category all their own. A classic case where you might be thinking how stupid the whole thing is, and suddenly there you are laughing.

I had watched a W.C. Fields and Mae West movie “ Every day is a holiday”, there were some pretty funny lines from both of them. She may have been provocative for her time but I was a teen in the late sixties and early seventies so when when I reinacted her it was funny.

I’ve heard John Ritter was a very nice man.

My favorite Wrightism....

“I went to a diner that said they served ‘Breakfast Any Time.’ So I ordered French Toast during The Renaissance.”

I will have to check that out! Thanks for the tip!

Have many fond memories of watching The Honeymooners with my Dad at our small black and white t.v. in the kitchen. That and the Lone Ranger. :)

Kevin James based his “King of Queens” series, I believe, on the Honeymooners. There is one episode where Doug falls asleep on cough medicine and dreams that he and Carrie are in the Honeymooners. Deacon is Norton. :)

Dear Lord, I watch too much t.v. LOL!

Probably the best comic actor active these days is Roberto Benigni.

Love Roberto Benigni. He is really an amazingly funny fellow.

There are so many Wrightisms - wonder what happened to him?

Lily Tomlinson and Bette Midler need a mention.

“9 to 5” might be one of the best comedies ever. Oh wait, “Court Jester” and “Singin’ in the Rain” really up on top.

I regularly listen to his old radio shows. (Search on Ebay for “Jack Benny radio.”) The best shows begin with September 1936 and go through June 1952. Very funny!

Loved the three stooges. I had watched them for years before I had ever heard of the Marx Brothers.

Bob Hope or George Burns. Both had great comedian and acting careers that spanned decades. Anyone else come close?
