Sure, mid week, this is what that guy was saying and surely it a sound prediction. But this is 3 months away. He is friends with all the RINOs in the Beltway area. I doubt he predicted the Eric Cantor loss, which is right in his backyard.
I don’t think he made a prediction. But this is the same map that came out Mar 2016, based on polls at the time that had Clinton 10+ points in the lead.
So there is a long way to go, and after the rise of Trump we’re not even close to 100% confident of much of anything. But a general election race that at the start of the cycle looked like a Toss-up just isn’t right now, which is why we have made such dramatic changes to our ratings.
