How quickly can the US Army or the Marine Corps crank out a replacement infantryman? How long does it take to build a CVN, train a crew, equip & train an airwing? At what cost in national treasure? It’s not a fair compatison, and you know it.
So how do you maintain air superior over huge swaths of ocean without a CV or CVN? Answer: you don’t.
