How is it polls can change so quickly ? Trump had been behind only few percentage points , and even leading some polls now all of a sudden he is behind by 10 percent or more? People just don't change minds that quickly ! Other news points to remarks he made about Khan as one reason his support has dropped , but even a gold star father on CNN this week when asked if Trump should apologize, had no idea what comments he made against that needed apology ? Then Obama comes out this week and says, there can't be election fraud if trump is up in the polls also implying since Hillary is way up , it will be impossible to cheat. Then are trump's numbers being reported as double digits behind Hillary now and for phony made up reasons so people will believe the change in the polls all to hide the election fraud that's about to take place in a he next 100 days ?

I am very conservative and support Trump and have really liked what he has to say on most occasions but I cannot stand the guy when he puffs his chest out and acts like a little child when criticized, he is ANNOYING sometimes and I don’t like him when he has his thin skinned tantrums. I am sure that most of us agree with this, can we at least admit it? His likeability goes way downhill when he acts like an ass and he is going to blow this election unless he sucks it up, tames his ego for a while, and acts like a CEO. He is way above most of these petty arguments he gets into, they just make him ugly, and his message is very simple and easy to convey. Hillary is part of the rigged system, she is a liar, I represent CHANGE, I will change the rigged system to benefit the people again, I want law and order and I know how to get our economy cooking with gas. That’s it, he does this, he wins going away.

The election is 90 days away. Way too early to talk about imploding campaigns.

There is a full court press to try to demoralize Trump supporters - lots of lies and lots of folks here willing to help by giving them credence. Mid September (and before) will make it a lot harder for the to spread the lies.

In the meantime, we can all help him build his infrastructure and gear up for when the time for a media blitz is right by donating to his campaign and Donate to FR while we are at it.

Anyone on FR that claims to not want Hillary, and who isn't also donating to Trump and FR may as well be liars who just like a free place to spout off while others do the heavy lifting. There are a lot of adjectives for them and none are flattering.....

What, again? Ever month since August 2015 the media has said this. Now, it is daily.

Two points:

The media / democrats, may have successfully sold to independent and swing voters the notion that Trump is unacceptable as POTUS (helped along by Trump’s complete lack of message discipline). If so, big trouble.

Trumps ability to claw his way back, a la 1980 Reagan is vastly reduced by the comparative lack of White voters in 2016. (And by Trump’s lack of Reagan-like charm and focus)

Free Republic would do well not to be rah rah but to fight for Trump rather than dismissing that the oligarchy and media servants are having some success among busy voters at Palinizing Trump.

Joking about what a fool Trump is, is heard every day, on every kind of tv show, radio, amongst people in shops, on the street. It is ok to trash him, it’s funny. Low info (or just busy)* voters osmose this. I am NOT being a doomsayer but here on FR Romney was sure to win and anyone who doubted it was drawn and quartered. WE NEED TO DOUBT a little, and we need to fight.

The disappointment after that election was so great I became mad at FR, not any people, just the happy sappy echo chamber that didn’t fight enough. We fought damn hard with the Swift Boat Vets to keep Kerry out. We will need to fight damn hard to have the Most Corrupt Person With or Without A Vagina stay clear of our White House.

When they demonize our person, they often have great success. Alinsky works. Please worry, and fight. Dennis Prager’s secret for happiness is to plan for the worst. It’s foolish to plan for the best.

* please remember. Some low info voters are working too hard to focus on politics. They are caring for babies, for seniors with dementia, cleaning houses, selling products, defending themselves from a difficult world, maybe even ill. BUSY. They would vote TRUMP if they knew the truth. By accident they hear the demonizing of him and the canonizing of the Beast. Help them out. This is key. GET HILLARY’S CRIMES out there.

Phoney or not, Trump has got to find a way to speak above all these headlines and recapture the high ground. This is how Reagan won and Trump needs to take a page from that handbook and get busy.

Every time I ask this, “has anyone seen a Trump ad,” the answer is no.

So, has anyone seen a PAC ad for Trump?

In July Hillary spent $8 million in FL alone.

Panic at the disco?

I know...

Polls are cooked. If you can get the internals check them out...

Trump is still up BIG with Indies... He’s weaker among Republicans that tradition R candidates... and Hillary is about where a typical generic D would be among D’s...

Sampling is way way off in these things.. one I say didn’t have any I’s at all in their numbers... others had D sample at like 45% I’s at like 15% and R at 40%....

The very idea that Hillary has the support of 48% of the electorate is laughable on its face... Bill Clinton only got 49.2% of the electorate in 1996 and Hillary is nowhere near the level of politician that her husband was.

These are polls being put together to create a desired outcome, not to capture the actual electorates preferences.

This election doesn’t have much play, most folks have made up their minds, the only segment of voters of any size to be courted are the Rs who are hesitant on Trump.. and I can’t see any way Hillary is going to get many of them.. they may stay home, but they aren’t going to break for her big... And Trump will likely get most of this group in the end.
