This is called opinion shaping, and I'm very afraid that It is in fact shaping the opinions of a critical portion of the electorate. The attitude around here seems to be that any poll that shows Trump down is made up BS, Trump has a plan and we need to trust him, all this is proof that the internals have Trump winning big, etc.. I seem to recall a lot of the same types of things being said in 2012. Obviously this is a different race, and we're still months out, and Hillary is quite literally a criminal. But there is a lot at stake here -- even more so than in 2008 and 2012, because whoever wins this time stack the SCOTUS for the next 20 years, to mention but one critical, critical issue. Remember when Trump said he wasn't going to debate Sanders? He needs to stick to that attitude and stop engaging with every nasty little turd the dems roll out against him.

Thanks for the nice explanation. I don’t care who Trump talks to, doesn’t talk to, what he says to them, or the way he says it, etc. He has my vote. And I LIKE him. Really.
What it comes down to for me is that I am NOT going to live in this country under a HRC dictatorship.
Trump should just run the campaign his way. Don’t go to any debates. Just have rally after rally. Eff the political press. Fire any of his staff who even smells like a politician. Listen only to his family. He’s the peoples candidate, and the people want the Washington crowd to be gone. He has more sense than all of them. Get a few more fired generals on his staff. They know what a corrupt bunch the Washington crowd is. They were trained to not lie cheat or steal, nor put up with those that do. Trump was a top cadet in the NY Military Academy. He knows the drill.
If after 8 years of Obama, this country elects Hillary Clinton, I'm out. Canada, New Zealand, wherever. All liberal hellholes, to be sure, but the US after 4-8 years of Hillary won't be any different. From the look of attendance at his appearances I don’t think there is a shred of truth to the rumor that his campaign is faltering.
There were a couple of GOPe congressmen who got primaried yesterday by Tea party types. If Ryan gets primaried next week we will have a great piece of evidence that GOPe is done for, and real panic will start to turn the GOPe around to kiss Trump’s lower rear extremity.
