Don't worry. They are pressing other buttons.

It’s modern marketing and intended for a house full of kids or a family of obsessive-compulsives.

It doesn’t work that way. You can only order once, and not again, until the order is delivered. So, no repeat orders.

For decades the family phone provided the same risk. Remember 977 numbers?

Most families comparatively shop. They just don’t blindly order at any price.

I don’t do one click any more...Last time I hit the one click, a little note popped up claiming my personal information didn’t go thru...Said to try again...
I did...
Couple days later I received two of the items with two deductions from my bank account...
To their credit they they fixed the problem as soon as I sent the extra item back...

They've had those for awhile, they're called DASH buttons. Fortunately our kids are older, but if they were still young I'd make sure those were out of reach/out of sight so they weren't viewed as toys.
I thought about getting a few for convenience sake. Still might. I do much of my commodities ordering from Amazon and JET. It's nice to have the box of stuff I need delivered to my doorstep "just in time" and not have to take trips to the store. Amazon and JET are generally cheaper than the local stores too.

You get an order alert on your phone so you can cancel.

So, you give your kids your password? Don’t blame the kids or Amazon.
