CC Cleaner gets rid of a lt of old log and temp files too.

So to delete the log files, open the Norton home page (by right clicking on the icon next to the clock at the lower right, and clicking on “Open Norton Security Suite”) and then click on “History”, then “Clear List”. This then deletes the log files Norton has made up to that point about intrusion attempts and past virus scans.

This is for the Norton Security Suite, which I get for free from Comcast (XFinity). Yours may be slightly different if you aren’t using the Suite, just the anti-virus software. But just look for a “History” section in the anti-virus program, should be a large icon that says “history”, and it will probably give the same option (to clear the history) once you click on it.
