Silly dress. The bodice is an unflattering cut on anybody, and the sleeves look like babies’ pool-floaties.

I don’t see a draw string to make those sleeves poof out. Maybe it is there. But clearly Beatty was altering the look to mimic Melania.
Beatty does look nice in the dress but she is a racist if Melania is a racist for wearing that dress.. Someone should point that out to the woman who claimed Melania was a racist for wearing white.

It just struck me that it’s a very modest dress. I wonder if Mrs. Trump is trying to present a very clear departure from her old modeling photos. Of course, she wears everything well.
It is modest, and the dress looked as good on her as it could on anyone.
She looked good in it but yeah, I don’t like the bodice or sleeves either.
Those little tucks at the shoulder seam (why is that seam even there?) and the oddly placed “waistline” are just dumb.
I have never liked those necklines. They always look awkward to me.
