Four people--including a 17-year-old boy--have been killed and at least six others wounded since Friday morning in city shootings, police said.
The latest fatal shooting happened about 7:18 p.m. when a man was killed in the 2400 block of West 79th Street, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a police spokesman, citing preliminary information.
Shortly before 6 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the city's Chatham neighborhood. That shooting happened in the 700 block of East 82nd Street, Sweeney said.
