When many reporters heard that the Democratic National Convention would be in Philadelphia there was excitement. Its a bigger city than Cleveland, better suited for large events with plenty of hotels and a great food scene. Instead, the first day in Philadelphia is turning into a sweltering day of sweaty reporters in unhappy circumstances, loudly complaining to one another after a relatively easy (and cooler) experience in Cleveland.

An zero American flags. None. Zip. Nada. Not a single American flag is present in the Democrap Party convention.
Well. OF COURSE they’re sweltering. Didn’t they hear Lurch, when he told us Air Conditioning was a big a danger as ISIS terrorists. . .
The press is hot.
What a shame.
They also have to walk around those pesky walls and barriers to entry. They probably feel like a rat trapped in a sweltering garden maze.
Also they have to yell over Live music that seems to be the central a necessity to drown out Berne supporters.
Sounds like their undergarments have become entangled in the cleft of their buttocks.
For social justice sake, if the government would simply ask every fourth white person (*) to give up air conditioning, there could be enough carbon credits for the press, along with minorities, to turn the thermostat down to where they feel comfortable!
(*) includes Jews, East Asians and - this just in - “white Hispanics.”
The press uses Uber.
Tell the unions about it—and then we can have another riot!
“The press filing center, while directly across from the arena, is three large tents with loud air-conditioning.”
Why are they even ALLOWED to have air-conditioning? John Kerry just announced that air-condtioning and food refrigeration are more dangerous than ISIS.
I was posted on level five of the Q with the international press. They were happy campers! It was cool, they had space for their equipment and a volunteer at every entrance for assistance.
Algore should show up and they’d have an ice storm in Philly.
I’m sure minorities, gays, and women were well represented among the event planning staff. Whether they had a clue or not.
I remember the “tents” (actually more like portable buildings) at the 2000 RNC convention. That was when I learned what reporters often meant when they said, “Live from the convention,....” that they meant from a tent outside of the convention center where they were watching the CNN feed on a TV. Just more misleading media.
