Former Southern Mississippi forward Jonathan Mills, 26, was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Chicago, near the high school where he once starred, police said
Mills was preparing for a workout at his alma mater, North Lawndale College Prep, when a gunman opened fire on Mills and a group of his friends near a store close to the school, according to the Chicago Tribune. Mills suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to police spokesman Thomas Sweeney, who had no other details about the shooting and said no arrests had been made.

"It's out of control," Tyndall said of the violence in the city. ----------------------
Who's doing the bulk of the shooting?
Did the cops shoot him?
What makes a gun do that?
That’s gonna ruin his free throw.
Can this happen in a city that is a gun free zone?
If a white cop didn’t kill him, it doesn’t matter.
No political benefit or money to be made.
Sad but true.

Maybe he should have been at work instead getting ready for a roundball “workout”.
Just another murder...lost in the noise level of Chicago. I should have become a mortician there....a business with infinite demand.
Michael Jordan, in his statement yesterday decrying both the killing of young black males by cops and the killing of cops by angry young black males, not surprisingly didn’t say one word about the plague of black-on-black killings in Chicago and in inner cities throughout the country. The overwhelming majority of young black males are killed by others like them, but most prominent blacks simply won’t discuss that truth. And when they do, they’re called Uncle Toms and the like.
I read the article.
Did you?
Nuffin was done by a dindu nuffin that did nuffin.
“Did the cops shoot him?”

No,so his death doesn’t really matter.
Sad !

Many top athletes report serious jealousy in the old hood..scary jealousy. This may or may not apply here.
Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. Sometimes that gets lost in all of this; there’s no proof he was involved in something criminal that made him or his friends get shot at...and even if he was involved in something nefarious, it’s senseless none the less that so much violence (no I’m not blaming the gun) is wiping out this countries youth
#FootballLivesMatter....
RIP.
It’s his business as to how he spent his time, as long as he wasn’t doing anything criminal at the time.
Lots of good people in Chicago have been shot while doing things that good people do.
Do BLM?
Maybe in his honor, the Democrat delegation from Mississippi will fly their state flag at half-mast during the rest of the convention...
