Liberals existed 2000 years ago.

No. That is caused by the magical goodness they have, it’s an auto-addiction.

How in the world does such a thing get started in a society?

Bone is porous. The simple act of handling the skulls with bare hands would introduce DNA from the handlers, which can easily penetrate at least a few mm into the bone.

If I were doing a DNA extraction from these skulls, I would be choosing a section of bone that is deep inside, as far from surface contaminants as possible. For example, I might choose a sample from inside the sinuses. And then I would run a slew of controls to rule out the possibility that modern DNA is contaminating the results.

Unless you have actually worked with DNA and tried to analyze it, I do not think you can fully appreciate the problem of contamination of samples. Even airborne DNA can contaminate your samples. Avoiding DNA contamination is a very exacting process.

This subject is right up my lane of expertise. My PhD is in biochemistry (the study of proteins and metabolism) and molecular biology (the study of nucleic acids).

From the article:

“The [DNA] samples consisted of hair and bone powder, which was extracted by drilling deeply into the foramen magnum. This process, Marzulli explained, is to reduce the risk of contamination. In addition, full protective clothing was worn.”

Once they figure out how the skulls don’t have the same sutures (those little squiggly lines) that regular Human Skulls have... Then I will be impressed.

All you folks that say they Pressed or Flattened their skulls to make that shape can take comfort in the fact that folks did that to copy the look of those that had that shape naturally.

The skull sutures are unlike any human, any other human skull that has EVER been unearthed anywhere and have not ever been seen again anywhere since. It isn’t just a single skull but many.

Many cultures adopted (copied) the “head shaping” tradition, they all have regular skull sutures and one has to ask “why”?

It is beyond Obvious, those elongated (pointed) skulls minus the normal human skull sutures are not human.

Ya might have it ... did they have normal human skull sutures or are they minus the one like the Cone Head Skulls?

Then again ... My middle daughter was a large baby and my poor Wife in labor for many hours, finally decided to do a “C” Section, later I am Dad looking at my baby with all the other Dads through the glass at my baby with the pointed head and ears that looked folded. Her pointed head went away with her folded ears.
(Like I told her , she was like a Butterfly, she transformed into the beautiful woman she is today)

What are the distinguishing marks of Zika skulls? Hadn’t heard anything about them.
