Well they should have heard it. My husband and I went out side and both of us was like what the hell is that? I thought at first it was a plane crashing, and then it took so long I even wondered if we were being invaded. My husband said it sounded like a rocket or missile taking off.
We’re in the flight path for jets and helicopters from the Coast Guard in Mobile, Camp Shelby in Forrest County. We’re used to jets flying over low, and we’re used to helicopters flying low, too. Never heard anything like this. I want to know what it was. And so do a lot of other people.
I posted the links to the comments from along the coast. There were over 700 posts last night I see it’s down to around 400 today. But you can see what I mean by people saying they’ve never heard anything like this around here. Plus you can see the 2 “stories” we’ve received thus far.
