there are many different types of seizures. Most people think a seizure is the colonic tonic type...I have had 2 seizures that had my muscles just caused me to drop without warning and unconscious for about 30 seconds...could hear my husband and son talking to me but was just unable to move any muscles....I just kept repeating (in my head) I'm ok. took about 5 minutes to come out of it....another type is being unconscious for minutes but muscles not involved...Petite seizures. Jacksonian seizures that effect only one side of the body. Been out of nursing for several decades, cannot remember them all...(spelling might be wrong on some of the words, no seizure just cannot spell good)
