I can’t imagine Texas sending him to the senate again.
I think he hoped to destroy Trump with his speech, and he only succeeded in destroying himself. He lost over half of his Cruzer fans, and made himself a pariah for the rest of his life.
What a fool he became.
What could have been a good launching pad for the future politically, has turned into a possible career ending hissy fit. I don’t get it.
Especially since he’s planning to start running for president again as soon as the 2018 elections are over.
He’s already spent most of his first term not doing his Senate job
