Like I said, I value FR peoples opinions over most of the press. Vanity threads can be awesome or in a pinch serve as actual news stories when a freeper is posting about a personal experience. Like attending the RNC as a delegate for example.

Like every other privilege, some people will take advantage and abuse the privilege by posting stupid, inane, poorly written vanities as though Free Republic were their own personal forum, and of course, those people are not donors either.
