Why do you ask?

Trump is the official nominee. The vast majority of voters who understand our founding principals and have even a vague idea of what a Hillary presidency would do to this country will vote for him.

Two imperfect men who both love their country (And, yes, Cruz is just as much an American as Melania Trump and every other legal citizen.) and who love their families, have both said and done things they should not have.

Humility is NOT weakness. For the sake of this Nation and to ensure that their respective gifts are used to serve her, they both need to stop this stand-off. Trump knew what Cruz would do, expected it, because I believe he would have done the same if the situations were reversed.

For months, both sides on this site have hammered each other. Sometimes accusations have been made against each candidate that the simplest research would have disproven. There’s some of that in the comments in this very thread.

It’s true that many Cruz supporters have been banned, left on their own, or simply stopped engaging in discussions. We’re deluding ourselves if we don’t understand that we need unity and every vote we can muster to keep HRC out of the White House. We don’t have a Washington or a Reagan to inspire us this time but it is imperative that we reflect on the values and tone they used to lead this Nation through desperate, dangerous times.

Enough already. let’s stop battering each other and focus on electing Trump/Pence in November. While we’re squabbling, who’s watching Hilliary and her minions?
