Not the best time to pile on. I am for Trump. Cruz botched it last night. There are more productive things to discuss. Be like Trump. Win graciously.
Give me a break. Ted came in and took a crap in the middle of the dining room. I am supposed to be gracious? Laughable.
The man needs serious counseling.
I have seen reports saying that Rubio did not endorse Trump.
I was such an early Cruz supporter, and boy has he lost me.
I realize at the end of the day he is a politician, but if he cannot live up to his signed word, what good is he?
Loyalty is a two way street.
I should note that a I saw a report that a Luntz focus group thinks Cruz didn’t destroy his future prospects last night.
But, he is dead to me.

I totally agree. Its amazed me how many “Christians” fall into the category of Pharisees casting themselves as the auditors of Trump’s soul as if they are fit to even judge their own. Donald Trump has done us a great service. He has made stand out like neon lit bulbs countless traitors in our midst many like Cruz who I would never imagined and others like Kristol, Will, and Brooks that I had long suspected.
We have a lot of bottom feeder conservatives who are completely happy it seems with the scrapes from the liberal table. We also have many like Cruz and Beck who are only happy if THEY are the center of the universe. They are blinded by their own ambitions. This election is not about any one personality not even Trump. Trump is a vessel of a moment to crash the gates in Washington DC. What we have found is that many are completely happy leaving those gates intact especially if they can’t be the ones ruling when the gates come down.
Trump said he knew 2hrs before the speech what Cruz would say; if that is correct, his people, should have played this video clip of Ceuz pledging to endorse before Newt came on stage
I loved Newt, he gave Cruz a southern back-handed compliment.

I’m sorry to say, I supported Cruz during the primary and probably would have voted for him but the contest was already decided before my state came up, however, now I am all for Trump as all people who care about this country need to be. I will never support Cruz again after he’s shown himself to be a small and selfish man.

Full disclosure. I actually liked Ted before then.

To me he seems like nothing quite so much as a slimy TV evangelist, with his greasy hair and unctuous, hypocritical speech. I’ve never been able to understand his appeal. Go away, Ted. Just go away!!!

Luntz showed his ass when he told his group that Hillary was more experienced because she had been First Lady, a Senator, and the Secretary of State. What a tool!
Rubio did. In a pre-recorded video. And he did endorse.
Cruz showed his true colors and tried to finesse it. All he did was pi$$ on his own shoe. IMHO.
Newt attempted to smooth it over by paraphrasing Cruz, and putting a different spin on it, and I give him props for trying. But Cruz came off as the acute case of red butt that he is, and no amount of paraphrasing can remove that selfish blotch.
His word is no good. What else was he lying about?
Lousy speech to begin with and the end bombed.
